Elexicon Energy Inc. announces that President and CEO Lesley Gallinger will be leaving in May to become the President and CEO of Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator.
Lesley is the founding president and CEO of Elexicon Energy. During her two years with the organization she ably guided the integration of two former utilities into the fourth largest municipally owned utility in the province.
“We are disappointed to see Lesley go but grateful for her contribution,” said Paul Murphy, Board Chair. “She has put in place a great leadership team, led the development of a coherent business strategy, championed the alignment of the organization behind a set of core behaviours, and focussed attention on improving safety and operating processes.”
The Board thanks Lesley for her affable but determined approach to establishing a solid foundation upon which the talented employees of Elexicon Energy can build.
Lesley will continue in her current role until her new appointment takes effect on May 25, 2021.
The Board of Directors will be initiating a search for a new President and CEO for Elexicon Energy immediately.
