About Elexicon
Elexicon Energy is a regulated electricity distribution company that delivers electricity to more than 178,000 homes and businesses located in the following ten municipalities in east central Ontario: Ajax, Belleville, Brock, Clarington, Gravenhurst, Pickering, Port Hope, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby.
We’ve set off running to become the company that pushes towards progress, and to become the local hydro company that individuals, families and businesses not only count on – for the safe and reliable distribution of energy – but one who will actively pursue a better tomorrow.
Elexicon Energy is regulated by the Ontario Energy Board (“OEB”), an independent regulatory body. The OEB is guided by its statutory objectives under the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 (Ontario) (“OEBA”) that include, among other matters, to support the cost-effective planning and operation of the electricity distribution network and to provide an appropriate alignment between a sustainable, financially viable electricity sector and the expectations of customers for reliable service at a reasonable price.
Beyond the provision of dependable energy, Elexicon Energy takes pride in proactively working towards a better tomorrow that’s simply better, for all. We do this through our four strategic pillars of customer centricity, operational excellence, economic development and strategic investment.
