Based on the information provided in the application, Elexicon will assign a Connections Technician to the project who will create the Service Layout and Offer to Connect. This Service Layout will outline all your requirements, including cost, location of equipment and Elexicon work to be completed.

The Connections Technician may make site visits and/or contact you to discuss the project. You must ensure that a technical contact is available for feedback.

When the documents are ready, a Connections Coordinator will email the completed Service Layout and the associated standards applicable to the project to your and your representative (electrician or contractor).

You sign the Service Layout and return a copy with payment to Elexicon.

You can deliver or mail the item(s), to Elexicon’s Ajax Office. Place hand delivered documents in the drop box, located at the front of the building’s glass doors, with a copy of the service layout or account number clearly marked on the cheque. Make cheques payable to ‘Elexicon Energy Inc.’ and mail to:

*Replace this with the Connections Coordinator’s name who sent you the Service Layout.

Elexicon is currently accepting payment by credit card and Interac e-Transfer. Please note that all credit card payments are subject to an additional 1.75% fee on the total. Contact Elexicon’s Connections Coordinator to process the payment.

Provide all requirements below for Elexicon to proceed.

• Contract in for service – Contact our Customer Care Department at 905-420-8440 to “contract in” for service (put the account in your name). Please give the representative your account number.
• ESA Connection Authorization
  
• Signed Offer to Connect and Service Layout
  
• Payment

Elexicon will complete any required work as indicated on the layout. Once all requirements are met, the final connection will be made within five (5) business days.

*Any construction work required to bring service to the trailer, beyond the temporary service definitions outlined in the Conditions of Service (30 metres from the supply point) will be an additional charge to the customer.

There is no additional credit card fee or HST charged on deposits collected above. HST will be charged on the Connection Fee and all credit card payments are subject to an additional 1.75% fee on the total.

Note: There are different fees for the areas outlined in the fee schedule because Elexicon is required to follow the Ontario Energy Board’s approved Tariff of Rates for our service districts which include temporary fees.
