This is the cost of delivering electricity from generation stations to your home or business.

Covers the cost of delivering the electricity from the generating stations to Elexicon Energy through Hydro One’s transmission system. This charge is billed on your peak kW demand registered between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. during each billing period.

Covers the cost of connecting Elexicon Energy to Hydro One’s transmission lines, as well as the cost of transforming the electricity from the high voltages used in the transmission system to the lower voltages used by Elexicon Energy. It is charged based on your peak kW demand peak for each billing period.
Includes the cost of services provided by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) to operate the wholesale electricity market and maintain the reliability of the high voltage power grid. It also covers certain costs incurred by local utilities to connect renewable generation and also includes the Standard Supply Charge which also covers administration costs for consumers purchasing electricity under the Regulated Price Plan or at market prices.
This amount represents the provincial Harmonized Sales Tax.
If you have outstanding charges brought forward from previous billing periods (including partial payments made) the amount will display here. Previous charges are due immediately upon receiving your new bill.
