UPCOMING COMMUNITY-WIDE POWER INTERRUPTION

Elexicon Energy crews will be performing important work to strengthen the electricity distribution system in Orono on Friday, October 3, 2025. For the work to be done safely, a community-wide power outage is required. The power interruption will take place from midnight until 6 a.m. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage residents to visit this page for some helpful tips and suggestions to prepare for the outage.

Elexicon Energy offers a number of ways customers can pay their bill, including pre-authorized and equal payment plans, online banking or in-person at a financial institution. Bill payment options…
Customers enrolled in pre-authorized and equal pre-authorized payment plans will continue to have their bill statement amount withdrawn on their scheduled due date.
