AJAX, ON — May 14, 2021 – Elexicon Energy has officially made a commitment to create a workplace that reflects the rich and diverse community that it serves, by being the first organization to sign the expanded Leadership Accord with Electricity Human Resources Canada.

The accord focuses on gender equality in the electricity sector as well as expanding its reach to racialized and under-represented groups. By using a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) lens Elexicon Energy will implement these changes, as it aims to become a leader in the industry as well as the region.

As part of its commitment, Elexicon Energy employees have been participating in multiple DEI training sessions this year including the development of internal DEI policies and initiatives. “We want to ensure our employee are fully engaged in helping to build a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture at Elexicon,” says Vice President of Human Resources, Stacia Boss.
