What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

International Women’s Day, for me, is a day to celebrate the achievements of women around the world and a call to action to continue supporting equality for all and #AccelerateAction.

What has been the greatest achievement in your career?

The greatest achievement in my career has been going back to university at the age of 40 and completing my degree, while working full-time and raising young children at home. This was a personal milestone for me, which led to my job at a predecessor corporation of Elexicon and has opened up many other opportunities since.

Why is it important to #AccelerateAction and continue working towards gender equality?

Females make up roughly half of the population on earth. Advancing gender equality and taking the necessary steps to #AccelerateAction are crucial for a healthy society and its continued growth. Gender equality promotes better health, stronger economies, and helps reduce poverty and racism, ultimately supporting the well-being of all genders globally.
