What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
International Women's Day to me is to recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of women not just as professionals but also as mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, friends, and aunts. We are all superheroes in every role we play!
What has been the greatest achievement in your career?
Being a first-generation immigrant, first-generation university graduate, and first-generation corporate professional, there has always been a lot of uncharted territory to navigate. However, despite the challenges, I've managed to be a successful "first" and hope to continue the upward and onward trajectory.
Why is it important to #AccelerateAction and continue to work towards gender equality?
Equality for everyone identifying as women is a conversation that needs to become a part of the gender equality narrative, and #AccelerateAction is one step closer to achieving that. All while keeping physiological, cerebral, and neurodivergent differences in mind because mindful inclusivity renders every individual the comfort and confidence to voice their opinions and be a better version of themselves.
